Joker's Dare

Step into the Ember Cabaret, where every card is a dare. Joker's Dare is an instant card game set on a 1920s stage: twenty-five cards lie face down, and some of them hide a grinning Joker. Turn a safe card and the multiplier climbs. Turn a Joker and the act is over.

How it plays

Before the curtain rises, players choose their bet and how many Jokers join the deck, from 1 to 24. A few Jokers make for a long, steady climb; many Jokers turn every card into a leap. From the first safe card, players can cash out at any moment and keep the multiplier they have reached.

Inferno

For the bold, Inferno commits three cards in a single reveal. If all three are safe, the multiplier jumps three steps at once; a single Joker ends the round. The payout is exactly the same as turning the three cards one by one, so Inferno changes the tension, not the maths.
